Find Best Treatment For Liver Cirrhosis
- September 2, 2010, 7:36 am
Cirrhosis is a result of chronic liver disease distinguished by replacement of liver tissue by fibrosis, scar tissue and regenerative nodules, leading to loss of liver function. It is primarily caused by alcoholism, hepatitis B and C, and fatty liver disease but many other possible reasons. It generally results in hardening and scarring of liver cells. In such cases, liver becomes unable to work properly due to scarred tissue, which prevents the normal passage of blood through the liver. The improper functioning of liver affects the organs ability to process nutrients, hormones and drugs and slows the production of protein and other important substances produced in the liver. Treatment of liver cirrhosis depends on the cause and clinical appearances.Feature News
